GolfpunkradioGolfPunk Media announce that they are teaming up with leading podcaster, audioBoom, to create an hour-long bi-weekly podcast.

audioBoom is the leading mobile, web and connected device platform for the very best spoken-word content in news, current affairs, business, entertainment and sports.

It operates a digital, on-demand, streaming audio platform enabling the creation, broadcast and consumption of audio across multiple global media outlets.

GolfPunk Editor and founder Tim Southwell commented: “GolfPunk Radio is a great way of bringing the brand to life, and offering a different experience of the brand outside of our responsive website. It literally gives another voice to the brand.”

Southwell added: “We have just done our first show which featured special guests Denise van Outen, Dana Garmany and J Townsend, and were really pleased with the results. The show is just under an hour long, and is available on the website – just go to: http://www.golfpunkhq.com/news/article/its-golfpunk-radio

The bi-weekly show can also be easily shared across GolfPunk’s social media audience, including its 18,000 plus Twitter audience.

According to Southwell: ”We felt that there was nothing out there golfers who wanted a magazine style radio programme, which covered the key events of the week in an informal, and hopefully amusing and light-hearted way.”
