Geoff Russell of Golf Business News.com (That’s me! Ed.) has received the 2012 EGCOA media award in Cannes France at the annual European Golf Business Conference.

Geoff has been involved in the golf business since 1979. A founding member of the British Golf Industry Association, he was the BGIA’s second chairman. A regular conference speaker and contributor to magazines he embraced the ‘digital revolution’ and in 2000, launched ‘Golf Business News.com’ Geoff accepted the award in true Cannes style with an uplifting and entertaining acceptance speech.
