A smiling Seve Ballesteros opened up a slender advantage on day one of The Open For The Ages, but Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus were close behind the charismatic Spaniard.
Ballesteros converted lengthy birdie putts on the 16th and 18th holes to complete a six-under 66 in the first round of this innovative event, which is using real archive footage from past Championships at St Andrews to create an exclusive celebratory edition of The Open.
Highlights of the opening round are available to watch now while the final-round broadcast will start at 11am BST on Sunday 19 July.
