Troon International has joined the Golf Course Association Europe (GCAE) as a Corporate Member.

The partnership reflects the growing role of professional operators across Europe and connects Troon International to the ideas, data and peers shaping performance. GCAE represents Europe’s golf facility owners and operators at sector and European level. Troon is the world’s largest golf management company.

“Welcoming Troon International is a signal. Europe’s operators want practical collaboration that improves today’s golf experience and builds the next,” said Renate Roeleveld, CEO of the GCAE. “Troon International brings scale, expertise and a generous mindset. That helps our members move faster.”

DJ Flanders, Executive Vice President at Troon International, said: “Troon International is proud to support the European market through the GCAE. The industry grows when operators share what works and push standards together. We look forward to being part of the network.”

Europe’s golf market is shifting fast. Multi-course operators are expanding portfolios and investing in stronger, experience-led facilities. Troon International is part of that momentum. The company is expanding its footprint in Europe and sees collaboration with owners and operators as essential to understand market needs, strengthen performance and shape standards together.

Across Europe facilities are sharpening the golfer experience: how people first discover the game, the time they spend and how and where they play. Ownership and operating models differ by country, from single-facility owners to large multi-course operators. The GCAE brings these perspectives together so operators can compare approaches, share what works and see more clearly what really drives performance.

For Troon International, Corporate Membership offers clear advantages. It gives direct access to the GCAE network, including The 19th Room. It puts Troon International clearly on the radar of facility owners and operators who are exploring outsourcing of management, operational support or a future acquisition partner. It also creates a structured setting for ongoing exchange of operator insights and strategic dialogue.

The partnership already came to life at last month’s GCAE Conference in Madeira, where DJ Flanders delivered a highly rated keynote on the four generations entering the market and workforce and what that means for product, people and performance.
