The four afternoon sessions will bring together insightful presentations from leading practitioners in golf-related promotion, website design and photography. They will also include a Q&A session with the panel and a networking lunch.
According to GTS chairman, Nick Hunter, the forums will provide the ideal start to the new season. “The year ahead will be crucial for golf businesses wanting to put the difficulties of 2009 behind them,” he commented. “With confidence returning and a calendar packed full with high-profile events in Scotland, 2010 will be an opportunity to promote rather than consolidate, and the Regional Forums have been devised to provide expert guidance on how best to do that.”
Heading up the impressive line-up is award-winning golf course photographer Mark Alexander who will divulge the secrets of capturing great images and how to use them to attract business and generate revenue. Ian McCaig, from The Edge, will reveal the unwritten rules that govern successful websites while PR specialist Yvonne Alexander will explain how to attract visitors by getting your stories told.
The series of four sessions will take place during February and will be open to all GTS members and any golf related businesses looking to promote their business and maximise profits. Bookings can be made by emailing secretary@golftourismscotland.com
