Promote Golf, the marketing, business support and training company specialising in the golf industry, has announced their successful application to the CPD Accreditation Office, becoming an accredited centre of the organisation.
By providing independent accreditation, The CPD Accreditation Office aims to improve the quality of continuing professional development (CPD) to ensure positive and successful CPD experiences. By becoming an Accredited Centre, delegates of any of Promote Golf’s online courses can be assured of internationally established learning standards, giving authentication to the company’s high and consistent educational experiences.
It’s recognition that David Reeves, Managing Partner at Promote Golf, values highly: “We’re thrilled to have been accepted and to be able to now proudly show The Accreditation Office logo and centre number with all our materials. Since the turn of the year it’s been our aim to gain independent recognition of our courses to give industry associations, employers and prospective delegates the confidence in our learning products.”
Established in 2007, Promote Golf acquired their sister companies, Promote Training, online learning prospectus in October 2020. Through www.promotegolf.com, they offer a variety of practically based online courses focused on work within a golf club environment. The company now boasts over 25 courses and a stable of 12 industry-leading Associate Course Authors.
On successful completion of their courses, members of the PGA can already add their learning experiences with the company as a structured formal learning opportunity to their CPD records. The company also have established partnerships with the PGA of Canada, The Confederation of Professional Golf and The Golf Club Stewards Association, in addition to being an education provider for Material Matters, the golf club buying group.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, they’ve also hosted numerous live webinars for the PGA of GB&I and as part of the ‘Principles of Golf Club Management’ training course run by the Golf Club Managers’ Association.
