Get 2016 off to the best possible start by enrolling in MDP Part 1 to broaden your Club Management knowledge and network with other like-minded individuals.

MDP Part 1 is a week long course targeted in particular towards those managers who are either new to a post, recently appointed or simply want to enhance their knowledge so that they may better serve their club committee, owners and members. At the end of the week, those taking the course will have an excellent grasp of the basics in every area of club business, and will have established a valuable network of support for their career in this industry.

The cost to attend the course is £1055 +VAT (£950 for CMAE members). The cost of the course includes four nights’ accommodation and full breakfast at the hotel, and a 2 course buffet lunch and regular refreshments during the course. There will also be a welcome drinks party on Monday evening of the Part 1 course, hosted by the CMAE L&HC region. On the other evenings delegates are free to make their own arrangements.

A European Club Management Diploma is available to all CMAE delegates who attend both MDP 1 and MDP 2 courses and then pass the multiple choice exam on the 10 core competencies of a modern club manager. In addition, during MDP 2, delegates must successfully fulfil the obligations of the group executive case study, including a presentation to a ‘Board’ on their findings. Finally, once back at their Clubs, within 3 months, they must submit and pass a work based assignment of 1,200 – 2,000 words on a situation at their Club resolved using the strategic management tools learnt during the two programmes.

There are now limited places available on this course so please book now to avoid disappointment.
