Tournament management software company Golf Genius is offering a free webinar on contactless golf to help golf clubs to safely organise and host events and competitions when golf re-opens.
The Contactless Golf Webinar shows how easy it can be to administrate and manage golf events limiting physical contact by using Golf Genius’ live scoring, web portals and online registration.
With COVID-19 restrictions in place around the world, the Golf Genius International team has been supporting its customers with information and education via a webinar series, enabling them to use this extra time to make the most of the software when golf returns.
In addition to the webinar, to help facilitate the re-introduction of golf when the restrictions relax, Golf Genius are offering clubs a free package to run safe and contactless golf events until the end of June.
Craig Higgs, Managing Director of Golf Genius International, commented: “This webinar is open for all to experience and understand setting up contactless golf events within our system. We hope that this provides a welcome solution for many clubs when golf re-opens and as such have offered access to the product free-of-charge to help them deliver great golf events to their members and guests in a safe and careful manner.”
Taking place on May 6 at 9am (GMT), the webinar will demonstrate how events can be set up simply and quickly, offering golfers a chance to engage with multiple formats and competitive golf.
The system communicates with players and takes registration pre-event, manages live scoring from their personal devices on the course during play, and automatically emails result sheets and updated standings after the competition, removing all need for physical contact.
