Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club, widely regarded as one of the finest golf resorts in Scotland has introduced a more open membership approach that incorporates a variety of options for golfers. The club has introduced two brand new membership categories that reflect a key transitional phase all the way from junior to full-member status.
Young Adult Category
New categories for Young Adults (22-29 years) and a lower priced Youth/Student category been announced and launched this month. Dalmahoy has always encouraged juniors to remain or become a part of Dalmahoy’s golfing scene and the new categories provide some of the best value golfing opportunities for young players in the area.
Family Country Club Membership
Similarly, a Family Country Club Membership category has been unveiled for the first time to make golf accessible for all the family.
Dalmahoy’s Director of Golf & Leisure, Sam Oliver comments, “The demands of the modern world means that adults have less free time which puts more emphasis on quality time with the family and less time for Mum or Dad to disappear off on their own for a day playing golf for example. Our new country club membership for the whole family makes it easier to get this balance right, providing an environment where you can spend a day at the club enjoying shared activities – or doing your own thing but meeting up for a meal/drinks throughout the day.”
Sam continues, “There is no doubt Dalmahoy has always been synonymous with Championship Golf, but it is also now becoming a progressive club with an exciting future. Now running as an independent resort, with a new-look website, revised membership categories and thriving relationships with the golf tourism sector, Dalmahoy is looking to the future with fresh energy and enthusiasm.
“The response already to our new membership categories has been extremely positive and we are not finished yet. Look out for more new and exciting membership categories coming in early 2018. There is still a long way to go and we have many plans for the club, but establishing a more flexible approach to membership has been one of the first, key changes to be made and I am thrilled with the response.”
