The Education Policy Board (EPB) of the Club Managers Association of Europe (CMAE) has announced its 2015 Education Calendar.
The Calendar features 16 Management Development Programmes (MDP), taking place throughout the year and hosted across 6 European countries.
MDP Parts One and Two cover the 10 core competencies of modern club management. Part One courses are planned in Bournemouth, Dublin, Warwick, Stirling, Marbella, Rome and Paris while Part Two course venues include Stirling, Rome, Madrid, Warwick and Bournemouth.
MDP Golf is hosted each year at the Home of Golf, St Andrews, in December and the recently launched MDP Food and Beverage will take place for a second year in Dublin in November.
The new MDP Part 3 that specialises in Leadership and Advanced Management will be introduced in October in Edinburgh.
CMAE’s Director of Education, Michael Braidwood, commented “the launch of the new calendar gives our members superb training and development opportunities which they can book into their diaries well ahead. We are looking forward to hosting colleagues from previous MDP courses together with newcomers to our education programme. With over 400 attendees to date, MDP is growing in popularity primarily with positive referrals from Club Managers who have attended one of our courses”
