British golf clubs can now take advantage of a lucrative new income stream thanks to the arrival of the innovative new 4-wheel drive skateboard that won the Best New Product award at this year’s PGA Mechandise Show in Florida.
GolfBoard has been described as the most innovative addition to golf this century and it has gone down a storm with golfers across America since it was introduced across the Atlantic late last year.
As additional benefits GolfBoard has also been proven to speed up play and causes much less compaction than a traditional cart.
The revolutionary new GolfBoard product is as simple to use as riding a bike. All you have to do is to step onto the board, grab the lightweight ergonomic controller and go. The wireless hand-held controller allows you to accelerate and brake while the rider’s body movement controls the steering.
While using a GolfBoard a golfer can either carry his golf bag over his shoulder as normal or else fit it to a special bag mount/stability handle which can be attached to the front of the vehicle. The former will be preferable to some because by electing to carry the bag you engage your core and balance and transform golf into a full body work-out. However the latter requires less effort and the stability handle will also allow inexperienced users to build their confidence while getting used to driving their GolfBoard around the course.
With a compact size of just 50” x 20” x 10” GolfBoard is much easier to store than a golf cart or even a traditional trolley.
Hertfordshire-based Frasercorp Ltd has been named as the sole distributor for GolfBoard in the UK. It is offering golf clubs a number of different lease packages starting from as little as £59.00 per month plus VAT (without a warranty package) or for £72.00 per month for a 5-Year deal (including warranty package). 3-Year and 4-Year lease deals are also available and personalised quotations can be provided based on a club’s specific requirements.
“GolfBoard is a fantastic new product which has proved hugely successful in America and is certain to be just as successful over here,” said Justin Fraser Jones, Director of Frasercorp Ltd. “It’s fun to use so once golfers try it then tend to hire one out again and again. I genuinely believe it will also bring much-needed new players in to the game which can only be good for us all.”
