Greenkeepers across the UK now have an extra opportunity to apply for this year’s Turf Science Live – the UK’s premier turf event showcasing the application of the latest technological innovation and advances in golf course management.

Presented by Everris, Jacobsen and Syngenta, Turf Science Live will give a practical hands-on opportunity to interact with leading specialists in many aspects of turf management, and find out how these exciting new techniques can enhance turf playing surfaces.

To be held at Wentworth Golf Club in Surrey on 2nd and 3rd of July, there are 10 additional free places for each day open to all greenkeepers.

If you have not already received a Turf Science Live invitation, simply email your name, position and club to: ldavis@tip.textron.com

These additional places will be allocated on a ‘first come – first served’ basis. Invited guests are urged to reply at the earliest opportunity to secure their attendance.

Carl Crocher, Course Manager at Caldy Golf Club on Merseyside highlighted why he thought it essential that greenkeepers attend Turf Science Live. “I love the opportunity where you can interact and hear what others are doing. It’s a chance to pick up tips, find out how to use new technology more effectively and glean the latest thinking to squeeze the most from your budget,” he said. “In the tough financial climate it’s even more important.”

Andrew Howarth, Estate Manager at Gog Magog in Cambridgeshire, added: “It’s vital for the industry as a whole that we get together as professionals; to discuss new ideas, different techniques. It’s extremely important for the future of the industry, and for greenkeeping as a whole.”
