James Wilkinson, founder of Albatross Digital, and Chris Fitt, former CEO of Moor Park Golf Club and ex-Director of Golf & Leisure at Foxhills Club & Resort, have today launched Capture, a new communications platform built exclusively for UK golf clubs.
The platform gives general managers and commercial directors one place for every enquiry, every follow-up, and every member communication, replacing the scattered inboxes, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools that cost clubs revenue every week.
THE INDUSTRY GAP
Every golf club in the UK faces the same problem. A society organiser fills in an enquiry form on Friday afternoon and nobody follows up until Tuesday. A membership lead emails the club and it sits in someone’s personal inbox for a week. A member’s renewal date passes without a single reminder. Visitor details are never captured, and marketing campaigns are sent manually from tools that were never designed for how golf clubs operate.
Golf clubs have tee sheet systems for bookings and club management software for operations. What has been missing is a purpose-built communications layer that handles the commercial side: capturing enquiries, automating follow-ups, engaging members, and giving managers visibility over what is actually happening in their business.

Speaking about the launch of Capture, James Wilkinson, who has spent over a decade building digital solutions for golf clubs through Albatross Digital, said: “I built Capture because for over a decade I’ve seen the same problem first hand: golf clubs not following up with enquiries. I decided to do something about it. Chris could see the problem too from the operator’s side, and from there we set out to build a communications platform that covers every type of communication a golf club needs.”
Wilkinson has been joined in the new venture by Chris Fitt, who brings 15 years of senior golf operations experience to Capture as Founding Advisor. His career includes CEO of Moor Park Golf Club (a Top 100 club), Director of Golf and Leisure at Foxhills Club & Resort (5000+ members, 98% membership golf renewal rate, 59club Gold Flag award), and senior roles at Golf At Goodwood and Brocket Hall. Chris advises Capture on product development and industry strategy alongside his role as Commercial Director at MGP Nutrition..
Fitt said: “In 15 years of running golf operations, the biggest gap was always the same: communications.
