Toptracer Range technology, a product from Topgolf Entertainment Group, is the leading innovation in ball-tracing technology and has revolutionised the way people watch, practice and play golf since its inception. The company has unveiled a brand new, ultra-child friendly game, ‘Go Fish’, designed to bring a new generation into golf.
Inclusive at its very core, Toptracer technology has enabled over 250 driving ranges to entice new, young and non-traditional audiences to their sports entertainment destinations, in doing so, helping to create the golfers of the future.
Fun for all ages and abilities, ‘Go Fish’ can be played individually or as a team of up to four people. Players bid to capture each of the 24 different sea creatures in their virtual aquarium by hitting shots to various targets on the driving range. As with other game modes, all players can sign in via the Toptracer Range app to view their progress and compare scores with friends.
Following the launch of the new game, Toptracer’s President, Ben Sharpe, said, “Go Fish is the latest development in our pursuit to make Toptracer Range technology the most inclusive platform in golf.
“We want to make the game of golf more accessible for everybody, not just the regular golfer. This is the next step in our journey to grow the game among traditional and non-traditional audiences and introduce younger people to our sport in an entertaining and engaging way, that’ll keep them coming back for more.”
Go Fish is a key feature in a series of large-scale updates and improvements that the company have implemented this summer, designed to create a diverse and far-reaching appeal.
In addition to Go Fish, visitors can now tee it up at the 2019 PGA Championship venue, Bethpage Black and the 2021 Open Championship host, Royal St George’s, in Virtual Golf mode while mobile users can now enjoy a new Capture the Flag game designed to improve accuracy and consistency.
