World of GolfWorld of Golf London, situated in New Malden is one of Europe’s most popular driving ranges. They have been looking to find a way of tempting and encouraging more family participation and beginners onto the range and saw SNAG (Starting New At Golf) as the ideal vehicle to help deliver this.

This was achieved by created a designated SNAG area. SNAG offers a brilliant connection for World of Golf by linking the Adventure Golf and the SNAG area which is adjacent to the start and finish of the Adventure Golf course. Saturday 12th April was the first day the area was open and by the end of the day, ALL their introductory classes had been filled and extra sessions had been put on due to the demand.

Grant Wright, the CEO of World of Golf stated: “Since SNAG’s arrival the World of Golf New Malden has had to make more lesson bookings available due to SNAG increasing the demand. The World of Golf London is a fully integrated modern leisure facility offering a broad range of golf facilities for family, friends, golfers, and elite players. The World of Golf London aims to assist all golfers of all different levels of skill, helping them on the road to being a better golfer. The SNAG trial has been a great success with the large numbers making this a great innovation and tackling the vital issue for Golf of getting more juniors interested in the sport.

“At the World of Golf we understand the future of the game is dependent on getting more young people to enjoy our fantastic sport and achieving this is at the heart of our business.”

Tony Howarth SNAG Master trainer who visited the World of Golf just prior to the Easter Holiday said: “It’s great to see SNAG making such an impact. It shows the appeal of the equipment to new audiences of all ages, a perfect transition from the adventure golf to the driving range.

“This is a great example of how SNAG can be integrated into your existing business to help generate increased revenue by linking facility usage.”
