Syngenta will continue to support golf club managers as part of a renewed two-year partnership with the Club Managers Association of Europe (CMAE).
Syngenta will share its golf industry initiatives and expertise with leading club managers across Europe as part of its wider strategic objective to ‘Unlock Golf’s True Potential’.
Focusing on course playability, operational productivity and golf business sustainability, Syngenta will work with club managers to communicate and introduce industry-leading initiatives including:
- Ultimate Fairways: improving turf quality while reducing labour and costs
- Water management: maintaining playability even under stress conditions
- Operation Pollinator: encouraging pollinating insects by creating wildflower areas
- love.golf: a unique female participation project based on market research and academic study.
Simon Elsworth, Syngenta Head of Turf & Landscape EAME, said: “The CMAE plays an important role in the professional development of golf club managers and the sharing of best practice.
“The CMAE’s approach is consistent with Syngenta’s objective to create thriving, successful golf club businesses and we look forward to continuing to work with the CMAE in a partnership that we believe positively advances the long-term sustainability of the golf industry.”
Syngenta invests in the golf industry from the ground up. From world-class scientific research and development of turf and sustainability solutions to ground-breaking participation initiatives, Syngenta is committed to its objective of ‘Unlocking Golf’s True Potential’.
