SNAG (Starting New At Golf) Europe held its inaugural European Seminar last week at the fabulous venue of Pryor’s Hayes Golf Club, Chester.
The event being the first of its kind was the perfect opportunity to have the ever expanding SNAG family from across Europe together to discuss all things SNAG.
The two days were a chance for the different European distributors to discuss golf development of their own respective territories, what challenging factors they may face and what successes they have already had.
Also on hand was the Co Founder of SNAG, Terry Anton who spent both days presenting including the reasons SNAG was created, its purpose in Golf Development, what the future for SNAG may hold, the launch of the collaboration with Jack Nicklaus and his learning leagues, new exciting SNAG products that are just around the corner, and topped off with a fascinating story or two.
The event had a good attendance with representatives from Czech Republic, Ireland, Portugal, UK & Russia, their territories varying from new and emerging golf markets to well established ones.
The two days including plenty of fun activities for everyone to experience and above all enjoy what SNAG is all about. The two days incorporated team games and activities, how the online website and international tournaments can be utilised, and potential new products, were just a few areas that were covered in the action packed two days.
Daniil Gubarev from Russia, who made his first visit to the UK for the seminars stated “I found a lot of new and interesting things and it will help the development of SNAG in Russia. We are very pleased to be part of such a good team of professionals and part of the SNAG family worldwide”
Marie Wild who helped coordinate the event on behalf of i-KAN GC added “ To finally have some of the key “SNAG family” members together and attend this first event was fantastic. They were an amazing group of people and we were impressed with the idea sharing which in turn helped us understand all of our distributors and their markets better. We are already thinking about when we can host the next one!”
