National Golf Month 2016 (NGM) will be launched at The Golf Trade Show on the BGIA stand (B11). The show takes place from 6th – 8th October 2015 at the Harrogate International Centre. It is Europe’s leading golf trade and educational event and is open to the Professional Golf Association’s 6,000-plus members.

NGM will happen for the third time in May 2016. Through the support of Bauer Media and Sky Sports/Sky Sports News and fuelled by an intense social media campaign, it will offer free marketing and advertising opportunities to all partnering golf courses, driving ranges and PGA Members to reach over 23 million potential golfers.

NGM offers thousands of group taster sessions, paid for lessons and tee times, as well as club open days, which are designed to welcome new players of all ages, with a special focus on ladies and families.

NGM targets getting 100,000 lapsed golfers and new lady golfers playing golf through the following promotions; special coaching /playing offers, unique golf club membership offers and open day deals

It is hoped that members of the golf trade will embrace NGM as an opportunity to reverse the decline in golf participation and start creating growth from all sectors of the public.

To discuss how you can participate in NGM/create publicity for the event or to share ideas about growing the game of golf please visit Doug Poole on the BGIA stand whilst at Harrogate or call  07711 665247/ dpoolegolf@gmail.com
