Muslim Golf Association partners with 54 to accelerate global growth

Sports marketing and events agency 54 has been hired by the Muslim Golf Association to help expand its impact and reach.

The Muslim Golf Association has announced a new strategic partnership with sports and entertainment agency 54 which will see the organisation accelerate its global expansion efforts.

The new collaboration marks 54 as MGA’s official strategic marketing partner, supporting a renewed focus on brand development, storytelling and international growth. 54 will also provide strategic and commercial advisory to refine and elevate MGA’s brand positioning and uncover new opportunities to engage more golfers than ever.

With a shared commitment to inclusion, culture, and community, the partnership marks a significant milestone in MGA’s journey.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of a successful run of MGA events and new-to-golf initiatives across the UK, like the one hosted at this month’s PIF Global Series at Centurion Golf Club.

While founded in the UK, MGA’s global footprint is firmly established, with similar get-into-golf opportunities being offered in the USA coinciding with the LPGA Founders Cup in 2024, as well as bringing the world’s first Golf Umrah to Saudi Arabia.

The MGA is creating a platform for Muslim men and women to express themselves through golf

Building on strong domestic and international momentum, MGA is now poised to enter new markets, and further amplify its global Race to Makkah series, which will see leading players compete at the World Final at Royal Greens Golf Club in King Abdullah Economic City near Jeddah, KSA.

“This is a transformative moment for MGA,” said Amir Malik, founder of Muslim Golf Association. “We have proven that there is a powerful appetite for culturally relevant, inclusive golf experiences. With 54’s support, we’re ready to take that message to the world. Their track record in growing purpose-led brands makes them the perfect partner for this next chapter.”

Ed Edwards, CEO of 54, commented: “We’re honoured to stand alongside Amir and his team at such a transformative moment for MGA. They’re not only reshaping the game of golf — they’re breaking down barriers, inspiring new journeys, and creating pathways for players everywhere to connect with the sport, regardless of background or ability. That spirit of inclusion and passion reflects exactly what we stand for at 54, and we’re proud to champion their vision as we work together to unlock new opportunities on a global stage.”
