Kondor Kidz, which offers an affordable subscription service for parents whose children are wanting to play golf – especially those from low-income backgrounds – has this year launched its own Junior Golf Tour across the Midlands region, partnering with the Elexis Brown Golf Foundation.
The Tour kicked off in April and has so far visited venues such as Scraptoft Golf Club and Charnwood Forest, and is now gearing up for its third event at Ullesthorpe Court in June, for which readers can sign up here.

Offering a unique and inclusive experience for young golfers at every level, the Kondor Kidz Junior Golf Tour provides playing opportunities for grassroots children who do not yet have a formal handicap, meaning that every child, regardless of age or background, has the chance to get out on the course and enjoy the thrill of playing golf in a fun and supportive environment. It is ideal for children looking to take their first swings in the game with enjoyment always prioritised over the pressure of competition.
The Tour is open to children aged Under-6 to Under-18 and looks to build confidence in young players as well as honing their skills to take out on the course. The emphasis on fun means that both children and parents can enjoy a relaxed day out on the course.
The Elexis Brown Golf Foundation, much like the Kondor Kidz Golf Tour, is dedicated to making golf accessible to children from underprivileged backgrounds. The Foundation was set up following the sad passing of Elexis Brown in 2021, who had fallen in love with golf in 2014 at the age of eight and who by 2021 had been crowned the Under-14 Lincolnshire County Champion as a member at Woodhall Spa Golf Club.

Elexis was not from a middle-class background, but her unwavering dedication and tireless work ethic set her apart. She thrived on the challenges she faced, never letting her circumstances define her potential with a journey that was driven by sheer passion and a desire to inspire others, proving that talent and determination could overcome any obstacle.
In loving memory of Elexis, the Elexis Brown Golf Foundation is dedicated to ensuring every child, regardless of their circumstances, should have the opportunity to experience the joy, discipline, and personal growth that golf can offer.
The Kondor Kidz Junior Golf Tour (previously the Gallops Tour) was founded in 2023 by PGA Professional Tom James, a leading figure in junior golf development. Joining forces with Kondor Kidz in 2024, the Tour officially rebranded as the Kondor Kidz Junior Golf Tour this year.
