Over the last few weeks Awesome Golf has confirmed its belief that children around the world are leading the charge when it comes to new ways to play the game. Founder Gavin Hamer’s son, Noah, was the inspiration for the software, which is now played by FlightScope users across every continent, so the company’s success in this growing market is almost inevitable.
At the recent European Tour BMW Championships, golfers as young as 3 racked up a staggering 1 shot per minute for 5 days on the bay that Awesome Golf was invited to host by the Golf Foundation. Young golfers queued to hit shots into Awesome Golf’s virtual swimming pools on Super Splash and took part in a closest to the pin challenge, just 2 of the 13 options available as part of the Awesome Golf simulator software.
Meanwhile, Zac Wolfe, the 5-year-old Australian golf prodigy (pictured), caused a massive spike in sales in the region after posting images of him playing Awesome Golf on his FlightScope Mevo+ on Instagram @ZacWolfe28) during the country’s most recent lockdown!
“We were looking for ways to play golf at home that would allow Zac to practice and play,” explains Jeremy Wolfe, Zac’s Dad. “Awesome Golf has the perfect balance. The games are rewarding and fun, with the club and ball data quite incredible. It’s been fantastic seeing Zac so motivated and watching him progress his game, despite being unable to hit the course.”
