Junior.Golf taking growth of the game to international markets

3.52pm 8th September 2017 - Growing the Game

Junior.Golf, a player engagement platform that connects players, parents, and professionals through a suite of technology applications, continues its global expansion by adding facility partnerships in the UK, Canada, Mexico, and South Africa.

Junior.Golf, the leading platform for player development, continues to grow and to help facilities maximize the untapped revenue of bringing new players to the game. The company now has over 150 facilities nationwide in the USA and is investing in international partnerships to expand the platform to new markets.

The Shire London, a leading facility designed by Spanish maestro Seve Ballesteros in London, England, has experienced immediate success after adding the Junior.Golf platform.

“One of our goals was to build a junior golf programme which reached millennial parents,” said club director and The Golf Trust co-founder Cae Menai Davis.  “We could not be more pleased with the results. Within the first two months we added over 50 new children to The Shire London’s Junior Golf Programme. It has been a big win: we are extremely excited both about the results, and about the positive feedback from the parents.”

The introduction of Junior.Golf has also had a positive impact on the work which The Shire London is doing with The Golf Trust, a registered UK charity. “The Junior.Golf technology, which is very easy to use, has helped The Golf Trust to improve its outreach work, as well as with helping to grow the game at The Shire London,” said Cae Menai-Davis.

The new Junior.Golf player’s app has proven to be a fun and engaging tool which is helping get more children onto golf courses. It provides players the tools they need to learn the game and a gamified learning experience that introduces purposeful practice to the junior.

“After seeing firsthand the impact our platform has had stateside, I am excited to expand the Junior.Golf platform to my fellow mates in the UK,” said Junior.Golf Director of Sales Nick Pateman. “With more and more facilities focused on growing their junior golf and ladies’ programs, we are excited to have a solution that accomplishes their growth and revenue goals.”
