All families visiting both clubs in July can see their children (juniors) play for free after 3 p.m. on the Championship Course when playing with a paying adult. Juniors will also enjoy complimentary access, seven days a week on the Par 3 Academy Course at Yas Links Abu Dhabi before 3 p.m. weekdays and after 3 p.m. on weekends when playing with a paying adult.
Commenting on the “Troon Family Golf Month” initiatives offered at the two clubs, Francisco de Lancastre David, Cluster General Manager at Troon Abu Dhabi said: “Over the past year we’ve seen a huge surge of interest in golf here in Abu Dhabi. The combination of golf being an easy and safe way to exercise, as well as the condition of the golf course improving dramatically over the past year has led to a surge of interest from new audiences wanting to experience what golf has to offer for the first time. That is why this Family Golf Month, we hope parents and juniors will join us in Abu Dhabi to play golf, enjoy the outdoors together and appreciate the camaraderie that golf provides. So, make sure to book your next round at either Saadiyat Beach Golf Club or Yas Links Abu Dhabi as a family, as this fantastic programme is available every day during July.”
Saadiyat Beach Golf Club was the Arabian Gulf’s first beachfront course and was designed by golfing legend, Gary Player, the 18 hole championship course and top of the range practice facilities harness the beauty of Saadiyat Island and create an unparalleled golfing experience with views of the Gulf’s glittering ocean. Whereas Yas Links Abu Dhabi represents the first true Links Golf Course in the Middle East region. The Kyle Phillips designed course ranked #48 in Golf Digest’s World’s Greatest Golf Courses rankings and combines visual glory with the thrill of golf’s ultimate test.
