Faldo Futures seeks UK Manager after hugely successful second year

The successful candidate will lead marketing initiatives to recruit new venues and increase player registration across the UK, as well as develop and implement player and parent engagement activities.

The Faldo Series has recently announced an exciting opportunity to join the team in the new role of Faldo Futures UK Manager. Following an amazing rise in its first two years, the initiative is actively recruiting this key role to support further growth and development of the next generation of golfing talent.

Launched in 2024, the Faldo Futures is a pathway created by the Faldo Series to provide an inclusive, structured, and fun introduction to competitive golf for children aged 7–12. Designed to run across the UK, it covers nine-hole events at local clubs, 11 Regional Finals, and culminates at the Grand Final, staged at The Belfry during British Masters week in August.

2025 continued to see terrific growth in the number of UK clubs hosting events, and the number of participants. Over 2,000 young golfers engaged in the initiative at more than 100 qualifying events nationwide. 650 went through to compete at 11 Regional finals in May, with over 200 juniors going through to the Grand Final at The Belfry in August.

This momentum underscores the significant demand for junior-focused initiatives that balance enjoyment, competitiveness, and development – attracting new families to golf clubs and fostering grassroots talent.

Matthew Faldo, Director of the Faldo Series, reflects: “It’s been fantastic to watch the Futures grow since its first last year – creating a fun, inclusive environment where every child has the opportunity to experience playing golf with others their age, which is exactly what the game needs.”

With such success comes the need for a UK Manager to take the initiative forward to even greater heights. The position will oversee all operational aspects of the programme, including event planning, delivery and coordination with participating clubs.

The successful candidate will lead marketing initiatives to recruit new venues and increase player registration across the UK, as well as develop and implement player and parent engagement activities.
