Awesome Golf, the golf simulator software platform used by over 150,000 golfers worldwide, has announced a new partnership with the Golf Foundation to create more opportunities for young people to discover golf and to make their experience more fun, welcoming and easier to access.

The announcement builds on Awesome Golf‘s sponsorship of the British Junior Golf Tour, reinforcing the company’s commitment to welcoming the next generation of golfers worldwide.

The Golf Foundation is a UK charity dedicated to introducing children and young people to golf through schools, community programmes, and golf clubs, and its innovative GolfSixes League programme. The two organisations first collaborated at the 2025 BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, where Awesome Golf supported the Golf Foundation’s fan zone, delivering simulator golf sessions for children and hosting fundraising challenges – proving just how engaging golf can be for young people.

With launch monitors and simulator set-ups now one of golf’s fastest-growing areas, the partnership taps into a technology shift that’s changing how many people start their golfing journey. For young people especially, simulator golf can be a brilliant first step: it’s fun, weatherproof, easy to understand, quick to play, and built for repetition – helping young players learn fundamentals through games and challenges.

Gavin Hamer, Founder of Awesome Golf, said: “Awesome Golf was designed to make golf easy to start, fun to stick with, and great to play with family and friends. The Golf Foundation’s mission mirrors this in the real world – providing young people a fun and inclusive introduction to golf, the opportunity to play regularly and develop lifelong skills. Importantly, this partnership comes at a pivotal moment in Awesome Golf’s roadmap, as we look towards launching a junior-focused product this spring designed to support learning and progression for children through simulator golf.”

Brendon Pyle, CEO of the Golf Foundation, said: “Our goal is to introduce more children and young people from all backgrounds to the game of golf. Awesome Golf’s technology offers a fun and engaging way to learn the basics, build confidence, and take part with friends and family. We’re delighted to be partnering to support our events and programmes, and to explore new ways of widening access through modern, interactive experiences.”

Through the partnership, Awesome Golf will support the Golf Foundation through a range of different activations, creating engaging, technology-led introductions to the sport for young people.
