Crown Golf, the UK’s largest golf club owner & operator, announces today that 23 of its clubs are ready to participate in May’s National Golf Month campaign.
During the month-long event Crown Golf is offering approximately 7,000 free buckets of driving range balls, 6,000 free coaching slots and 3,000 heavily discounted green fees (starting at £1) to participants who book through the National Golf Month website.
The group has prepared its staff for the expected influx of newcomers and lapsed golfers, and is making a variety of offers available on the campaign’s website from 23 of its 24 golf clubs throughout England.
“As the largest golf operator we are delighted to support this initiative” said Rob Climas, Director of Operations at Crown Golf. “At some clubs we are hosting NGM offers on our numerous Par Three courses, while at others participants will have access to our full-length golf courses.
“Our PGA pros, driving range staff and other club staff are all ready and waiting to greet all comers, especially the would-be golfers who have been inspired by this tremendous campaign to have a go in May. We are determined to give people the best-possible experience of golf at our clubs this month.
“The industry is really getting behind National Golf Month this year, and Crown Golf is delighted to be playing its part”.
National Golf Month project manager Doug Poole said: “National Golf Month 2015 has been incredibly well-supported by thousands of private and commercial golf clubs in the UK, as well as by the key organisations right throughout the sport. We have a huge number of good deals on the website for one month only, and 22 million people will hear about them thanks to our press and social media campaigns.
“The fact that Crown Golf has put together so many perfect programmes for National Golf Month is brilliant, and we thank all of their clubs for this sterling show of support.”
Golfers can book their participation at a Crown Golf venue via the website at www.nationalgolfmonth.com.
