This weekend sees Scotland welcome home a collection of the world’s golfing stars during the Virtual Scottish Golf Show, which is taking place from 11am-6pm on Saturday and Sunday, February 27-28.
This global golf gathering is free to register and will give fans star player interviews, coaching sessions, one-to-one time with leading golf equipment manufacturers and the opportunity to win a range of great golfing prizes.
Now in its 15th year, the annual golf show has moved from a face-to-face event at the SEC to a virtual event due to the pandemic.
A host of star players from around the world will be giving interviews during the show, reminiscing about the glory days and sharing insights into what it’s like to be a pro on tour. They include Greg Norman, Colin Montgomerie, Gary Player, Catriona Matthew, Stephen Gallacher, Christian Kim, Grant Forrest, Paul Lawrie, Russell Knox, Robert MacIntyre, Andrew Coltart and YouTube star Peter Finch.
Those who register for the show will be put in a prize draw to win a fourball at Dumbarnie Links. There is also a leaderboard game, whereby guests are awarded points for visiting virtual booths and chatting with exhibitors. The more points a person racks up, the more prizes they could win, with prizes including a £5 voucher to spend at Affordable Golf, a £25 voucher towards a Bunkered Golf Breaks, or a free round of golf at a top Scottish golf course.
