UKGCOA gets set for GolfBIC

The UK Golf Course Owners Association (UKGCOA) has joined forced with the Organisation of Golf and Range Operators (OGRO) to organise The Golf Business and Industry Convention.

GolfBIC takes place on 29-30 March at The Forest of Arden Hotel and Country Club, set in the heart of the West Midlands.

The two-day event will feature a number of thought-provoking seminars and discussions, designed to aid golf course and range owners and operators to enhance their businesses. There will also be table-top exhibitions from a number of service suppliers as well as networking opportunities, a charity dinner and a golf competition on theForest of Arden’s superb Championship Course.

The cost to attend the event is £195 for OGRO clients and UKGCOA members, or £295 for non-members. The delegate fee includes one night’s accommodation on 29th March, attendance at the charity dinner, drinks reception, buffet lunch on both days, industry exhibition and participation in the seminars.

Jerry Kilby CCM, Executive Director of UK Golf Course Owners Association, said: “The UKGCOA and OGRO can confirm that exhibition places have sold out and we are taking delegate registrations every day.  We expect to welcome over 200 delegates from all over theUKgolf industry, including owners, operators, suppliers and service providers.  Only a few small number of delegate packages remain which include the hotel room overnight, as we only have 170 rooms at the Forest of Arden to fill, and they have nearly all gone !”
