Tenth year of Golf Europe

12.05am 16th May 2002 - Exhibitions & Conferences

Approximately 300 exhibitors from around 30 countries are expected at Golf Europe this year. The trade fair, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, has moved to the New Munich Trade Fair Centre having literally filled to capacity the halls at the M.O.C. for the past two years.

The dates, which were altered following the postponement of the Ryder Cup, are Monday 30th September until Wednesday 2nd October.

The extra space, arranged on 22,000 square metres, permits not only an increase in the number of exhibitors but also provides room for a new fashion show stage, a putting green and an indoor driving range measuring over 500 square metres.

The various product segments are arranged distinctly and systematically. Companies presenting ‘hardware’ for example are grouped along “Avenue Valderrama” while fashion exhibitors, including La Perla for the first time, are represented in Hall B6.

The PGAE (Professional Golfers’ Associations of Europe), official partner of Golf Europe, and a number of national PGA groups come together in the PGA Village close to the “St. Andrews Bar”.

The event and seminar programme has been developed with the PGAE and Bill Sanderson will be continuing his lectures on business topics for golf professionals.

Golf Europe has launched a new web site which provides an exhibitor search facility arranged by product and by country as well as by exhibitor name with a pre-registration offer (available only to members of the golf trade) until 17th September.
