Super-charged Asia Golf Show Opens in Shenzhen this November

8.34am 24th August 2012 - Exhibitions & Conferences

Covering the world’s fastest-growing markets, the 16,000-square-meter Asia Golf  Show (“AGS”) will feature golf equipment, apparel, travel, course maintenance, design and lifestyle areas, presenting a full inventory of new products.

This event is organized by Reed Guanghe Exhibitions and the China Golf Association, and co-organized by the PGA World Alliance. AGS is the leading regional platform for networking, trading and education, as it delivers an opportunity for suppliers to meet distributors, club executives and enthusiasts from mainland China and key Asian hubs like Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and more.

The 8,000 qualified visitors expected include 450 high-value TAP buyers covering golf course management with plans to rebuild, expand and maintain their courses and facilities, and key distributors looking for new and innovative products. Among the core of the VIPs will be hundreds of high net worth enthusiasts joining the show’s selection of public and private functions and events from 30 November – 2 December at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center.

AGS will be the place to discuss new initiatives and insights across the pan-Asian industry. To draw professional attendees, show partners such as the GCSAA, GCBAA and ASGCA will bring the insight of the game’s leading associations to the show. This year’s programs include: a Turf Science Academy on golf course maintenance run under the guidance of Olympic Club superintendent Pat Finlen, education from ASGCA-member designers Lee Schmidt and Rick Robbins, seminars from GCBAA experts, and the highly-anticipated return of the PGA Teaching & Coaching Summit – Asia, which brings golf’s best teachers together for an exchange of best practices.

Among the show highlights is the Golf Travel Pavilion, a unique platform where buyers in China can source the latest resort and travel services in Golf from around the world. The 2011 China Golf Industry Report showed that 81% of avid players in China (approx. 290,000) are considering taking at least one trip in the coming year, but current mass travel destinations are not satisfying their needs. The show will also include a Demo Day that will include over 20 leading brands.

AGS, together with the China Golf Show (held in Beijing, from 22-24 March, 2013) represent the most exciting and interactive business, networking and education platforms in Asia andChinafor the game of Golf.
