The 9th Fairway Golf Course Congress and Exhibition takes place on Thursday and Friday, 27th and 28th of February 2003 at the M.O.C. in Munich-Freimann. Golf course planning, building, operations and maintenance are the focus of the leading fair of the European golf course industry which runs along side a conference with workshops and seminars presenting practical knowledge from a panel of experts.
A discussion entitled “The Golf Market in Turmoil” will take place a day earlier on Wednesday, 26th of February 2003, starting at 3 p.m. Striking a balance between enhancing golf course quality while minimizing costs is the theme of the conference.
At Fairway 2003, approximately 120 exhibitors from 10 countries will be presenting new equipment and services in golf course planning, building and maintenance as well as equipment for driving ranges, clubhouses and administration.
Trade associations in attendance include the German Golfing Association (DGV), the German Greenkeeper Association (GVD), the German Golf Management Association (GMVD), the European Institute of Golf Course Architects (EIGCA), the PGA of Germany and the PGA of Europe.
Fairway’s target market is all professionals who deal with golf courses: golf course architects, owners and operators, consultants, planners, developers and investors, greenkeepers and golf pros, club presidents, chairmen and managers, landscape architects, sports ground architects, and also land owners, towns, tourist associations and attractions, as well as tax advisers, business consultants, lawyers and financial institutions.
