Golf Europe 2006, which will take place on the grounds of the New Munich Trade Fair Centre from 29th September to 1st October 2006, provides many opportunities for trade visitors and exhibitors to increase their knowledge and skills. For this year only the show runs from a Friday to a Sunday.
Supporting events include a comprehensive seminar programme, which the organiser is presenting in collaboration with the PGAs of Europe, as well as tests in teaching practice and impressive demonstrations by the trick shot world champion Paul Barrington. In addition, all trade visitors to GOLF EUROPE 2006 have access to the FAIRWAY Congress 2006, which is taking place at the same time. An attractive supporting package will also be provided there.
The seminars run by the PGAs of Europe have been extremely popular among trade visitors and golf professionals since the first Golf Europe 14 years ago. Presentations will be in English with simultaneous interpretation into German. Speakers Corner is in Hall C2 this year.
Bill Sanderson will be the seminar director for the eighth time and will also run two seminars himself. Both will provide comprehensive information to all golf professionals on the topics of the “Top 20 Retailing Tips for Your Pro Shop” and “How to Manage Your Customer Segments for Maximum Profit in Your Pro Shop”, regardless of the location, type and size of golf clubs.
In his first seminar Bill Sanderson will explain how to increase sales and profit margins and optimize business figures in order to strengthen the market situation of pro shops. This seminar will be presented daily from 11 a.m. – 12 noon.
The second seminar will deal with the customer profile of shops and how to deal with different customer types. The relation between customer loyalty and the success of pro shops will receive special attention.
This seminar will be presented daily from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Robert Maxfield, director of property and development for the PGA of GB & Ireland will also give a talk each day. “Maximizing Golf Operation Profitability” will provide tips about optimizing daily administrative tasks in a modern golf facility and will be presented daily from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
