Scottish Golf Show’s move ‘a huge success’

12.33am 6th April 2009 - Exhibitions & Conferences

The organisers of the 2009 Scottish Golf Show, PSP Publishing Ltd, have revealed record breaking attendance figures of the three-day golfing showcase, which was held recently at Glasgow’s SECC

The fourth annual staging of the show was this year relocated to the Glasgow venue and it saw a total of 17,187 golfers pass through the doors.

This figure represents a healthy six per cent increase of the previous record numbers recorded at last year’s show which took place at the Royal Highland Center in Ingliston near Edinburgh.

Event organiser Tom Lovering was understandably delighted with the tirn-out and commented, “Despite all the gloom and doom surrounding the current economic climate or decisions to move the Scottish Golf Show to Glasgow has clearly been vindicated.

“Many exhibitors reported that this was their best Scottish Golf Show yet and I am already taking bookings from companies for larger stands next year. Past exhibitors have always commented very favourably about the quality and knowledge of the golfers who attend the Scottish Golf Show and this year has been no different.”

The dates for 2010 have been confirmed as Friday 26th – Sunday 28th March.
