The introduction of Gullivers Sports Travel, one of the travel trade’s most respected companies, is one of a number of new developments introduced to improve the trade show experience for all visitors and exhibitors at this year’s show to be held at the Marbella Congress Palace, Spain on November 13 to 15.
Commenting on the announcement, event director Robert Fairbairn said, “We are delighted that Gullivers Sports Travel has become official travel agent to Première Golf and feel sure they will provide a fast and efficient service for all our exhibitors and attendees.
“Gullivers will be booking flights and hotel rooms for the vast majority of visitors and it is worth stressing that they have the expertise to handle enquiries not just from Britain but also from the Continent of Europe and further afield too.”
Andy Garside, Gulliver’s event manager went on, “Gullivers Sports Travel can assure buyers and exhibitors of an efficient service prior to and throughout the event. We have a variety of travel packages to suit most buyers’ requirements but what sets us aside is our ability to tailor our services to suit individual needs.”
The appointment of Gullivers Sports Travel as Première Golf’s official travel agent is just one of a number of initiatives introduced as a result of feedback from last year’s inaugural show.
This year there will also be an improved shuttle bus service from the airport to the hotels (for visitors booking through the official travel agent only). Much work has also been done to improve the efficiency of the shuttle services that run between the hotels and the Marbella Congress Palace and between the Congress Palace and the trial and demo areas.
Catering has also been upgraded at the Marbella Congress Palace not just within the main hall but also with the introduction of additional catering points. A large open-air terrace, situated on the balcony at the rear of the hall, will offer visitors an alternative venue for meetings and/or relaxation.
