The PGA has announced its support of the British Golf Show 2020, as tickets for this year’s event go on sale.
The two-day public exhibition, newly-titled The British Golf Show in association with The PGA, will take place on May 15-16 2020 at Wycombe Air Park. The event is in its second year.
The PGA’s booth will be located at the heart of the main exhibition hall, with all visitors encouraged to start their day by visiting the stand – where they will be able to claim a free golf lesson from one of six PGA Professionals who will be on hand daily.
The PGA will also supply retail support to equipment manufacturers running custom-fitting sessions on the driving range, where bays will also be allocated exclusively for free lessons given by the participating PGA Professionals.
The PGA and British Golf Show will also cross-promote each other’s 2020 activities during the run-up to the exhibition, including articles and advertisements in The PGA Professional magazine, which is sent to all PGA Members.
“We intend to make this a truly productive partnership, highlighting the valuable role which PGA Professionals play in life at almost every British golf club,” said Alex Ayling, managing director of The Elite Luxury Events. “We are enormously proud to be able to highlight the amazing work The PGA does in this new association.”
“The PGA is delighted to support this year’s British Golf Show, and to promote it widely both to the golf industry and to potential visitors. We look forward to taking part in May’s event,” said Liam Greasley, PGA Executive Director – Commercial.
Public ticket sales have now opened at www.britishgolfshow.co.uk/tickets, with pre-booked day tickets at £15 per visitor excluding under 16s, who get in for free. The event’s organisers are donating £1 from each ticket sold to charity.
