Pellucid Corp to present ‘state of the industry’ at PGA Show

10.31am 16th January 2024 - Exhibitions & Conferences

Pellucid’s 21st Annual ‘State of the Industry’ Presentation is to be held at next week’s PGA Show, with attendees invited to pre-register for the session, which is being held from 1.30pm-3pm on January 25 at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando.

This year’s headline is ‘A Record-breaking Year!’ and Jim Koppenhaver, Pellucid Corporation’s President will cover quantitative industry health measures for 2023, focusing on golf revenue, rounds played, RevpAR, utilization, weather impact, velocity, supply change and shape and consumer base size and change for 2022.

Stuart Lindsay will address how the updated 2020 Census is re-shaping local golf draw areas, why improving tee-sheet in-fill will be more important with utilization currently near 70%, as well as how technology is poised to help improve customer insights and engagement.

The 90-minute session will have two segments; the first 60-70 minutes will be the traditional review and the remaining time will be devoted to previewing Pellucid’s Golf Local Market Analyzer 2.0 and the progress the company has made on Golf Market Research Center 2.0 using automated data extraction, daily reporting frequency, weather impact integration and broader, more flexible analyses of performance anywhere you can get to the web. It is currently running in production for 2 PoS platforms and in development with an additional two providers and another being architected and mapped.

For those unable to attend in person, the presentation is also being live-streamed. To register click here.
