Major speakers at International Golf Conference

A new event on the international golf conference calendar, the International Golf Festival’s Trade Conference will take place on Friday 22nd January at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Featuring David Spencer, the creator of ‘The Race to Dubai’, Mark Siegel, CEO Golfasian.com of one of Asia’s top Golf Tour operators, and Paul Gibbon, Director at MST Golf Vacations, the conference’s main topic will cover ‘How to improve the bottom line!’

For those who are interested to find out about the future trends in Indo- China Golf and the future of golf tourism in Asia, then this is the place to be on 22 January 22nd. Hear from Eric Lynge, the Director of TV for the Asian Tour, and interact with the experts with numerous panels and Q & A sessions.

The International Golf Festival is supported by Tourism Malaysia and is sponsored by Golf Asia, Par Golf, the Association of Asian Golf Course Owners, Club Managers of Malaysia and the Malaysian Golf Association.

Maybank Malaysian Open 2010 has teamed up with Callaway Odyssey and will be running the popular longest putt competition.

Sime Darby, Malaysia’s leading property developer and owner of several top golf courses, will be displaying their golf real estate developments, while letting golfers try out their skills at their golf simulator.

MST Golf will be launching their golf vacations department and will be building a massive retail outlet at the festival’s exhibition which has an anticipated attendance of 10,000. Top brands including Nike Golf, Ping, Taylor Made, Wilson, King Cobra, Titleist, Cleveland and Yamaha are now confirmed.

Royal Selongar Golf Club, the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club, Lotus Valley Bangkok and Blue Canyon Phuket are just some of the courses exhibiting along with several golf tour operators from Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Europe and Malaysia.
