Lucky 13th for Golf Europe?

The 13th year of Golf Europe, the PGAs of Europe-endorsed trade exhibition at the New Trade Centre in Munich (2-4 October), could be the biggest and best ever as its prestige grows year by year

Staged once again, as in 2003, directly after the adjacent PGAsE’s Teaching & Coaching Conference (29 September – 1st October) and coinciding with Munich’s famous Oktoberfest, all the signs are that at Golf Europe 2005 the numbers of both exhibitors and industry visitors from all around the world will challenge existing records.
In 2004, when there was no TCC preceding it, there were 314 exhibitors, 60% of them from outside Germany. Visitor numbers were well over 5,000, 55% from within Germany but others from around the globe.
With three weeks to go, and the ‘last minute rush’ still ahead, more than 300 exhibitors had reserved space while over 800 golf professionals from 32 countries, including Australia, South Africa, United States and Canada had registered to attend the TCC for the chance to learn from the all-star cast of speakers, including David Leadbetter and Hank Haney. A high proportion of these golf pros stay on for the trade exhibition.
