The Golf Show Group is delighted to welcome best-selling golf author and sports journalist Ross Biddiscombe to its team for the 10th London Golf Show at Bluewater from the 14-16 November.
Ross, who has also been a sports broadcaster during his extensive media career, will be the compere of the Golf Tourism Stage that is a brand new addition at the Show this year.
The stage will be a lively environment for the entire three days of the show where exhibitors in the Golf Tourism Show can publicise their course, resort or destination to the visitors via interviews with Ross as well as videos and photographs.
Commenting on the appointment, Dominic McMullan, Marketing Manager of the Golf Show Group said: “We set out to find a credible personality from the world of golf journalism, with knowledge of golfing destinations and travel, who could also interview our exhibitors on the Golf Tourism Stage which will form part of the London Golf Show for the first time in 2014. Ross was a perfect fit in all aspects and we’re looking forward to working with him leading up to and during the show.”
Ross, whose latest golf book Ryder Cup Revealed: Tales of the Unexpected is currently on sale, said: “UK golfers are among the most active when it comes to travelling the world in search of new places to play and so I’m excited to be able to help exhibitors explain more about their courses, resorts and destinations to the thousands of Show visitors who are such a key audience for them.”
Ross has written 11 non-fiction sports books including three about golf and is a regular contributor to golf magazines and websites such as Golf Monthly and Golf & Travel. He has been a journalist and writer for over 30 years, working in almost every part of the print and broadcast media industry during that time.
The 10th Annual London Golf Show will be from 14-16 November at Glow, at the heart of Bluewater, one of Europe’s leading retail and leisure destinations which attracts 27 million visitors a year.
