PGA Professionals attending The Golf Show 2012 will hear from a selection of the golf industry’s leading figures after organisers announced a host of high quality speakers.

Experts from every sector of the golf business will host seminars including biomechanics expert Dr Rob Neal, business coach Bill Sanderson and Stephen Lewis, CEO of Crown Golf, at The Golf Show, open to all PGA members and held at the Harrogate International Centre from 9-11 October.

Successful PGA Professionals Neil Plimmer, Ian Peek, Steven Orr, Jamie Donaldson and Paul Affleck will also lead seminars to share their experiences and best practices with their peers.

The educational timetable has once again been shaped by PGA Professionals through an extensive online questionnaire; ensuring delegates will be able to enhance their knowledge on all aspects of their business.

Motivational speaker Philip Hesketh will make a welcome return as keynote speaker at this year’s event after impressing delegates last year with his acclaimed presentation.

David Colclough, PGA Head of Member Education, said: “This year’s seminars will include new names and fresh ideas on themes that are relevant to many of the challenges facing PGA Professionals across Europe.

“Seminars will cover all manner of subjects to ensure every aspect of a PGA Professional’s business is covered including junior coaching, introducing biomechanics to golf teaching, using social media and Malcolm Palmer’s 10 Vital Ingredients for a Successful Golf Business.

“The Golf Show has established itself as the leading educational event for PGA Professionals, and this is reflected in the number of high quality speakers that wanted to be a part of the event.”

World-renowned coach David Leadbetter is the star of a new Teaching & Coaching Conference that will be held on the final day (Thursday, 11 October) of The Golf Show.

Leadbetter will host two 90-minute seminars – the first will look at the Leadbetter coaching philosophy past, present and future, while in his second seminar he will show video analysis of some of the great golfers he has worked with aswell as other legends of the game.

The Teaching & Coaching Conference is open to PGA Professionals from across the globe and will engage delegates by showcasing various teaching techniques as well as how to make coaching more commercial and profitable.

This year The Golf Show has been moved forward in the calendar to earlier in October, but everything else will remain the same – PGA Professionals will be able to see all the latest products and services available from golf’s leading suppliers as well as gain everything they need for the PGA’s Member Education Programme.

Registration for The Golf Show is open at www.golftradeshow.co.uk. Once registered PGA members will receive an email with a separate link, which will enable them to book their place at the Teaching & Coaching Conference, at a cost of £25+VAT.
