Last chance to snap up tickets for Accountancy Matters Conference & Workshop

Strong line-up of guest speakers set to appear at leading accountancy consultants' annual conference.

Only five tickets remain for Accountancy Matters’ 2026 Conference & Workshop, which is taking place on February 26 at Camberley Heath Golf Club in Surrey.

Organisers are urging golf club managers, finance professionals and industry decision-makers to secure their place now before the event sells out.

The third annual half-day gathering will bring together key figures from across the UK golf industry to explore the latest developments in financial management, governance and strategic planning for clubs. The event will combine expert presentations, industry insight and practical learning in a focused programme designed to help clubs navigate current commercial and accounting challenges.

The confirmed schedule opens with an introduction from Accountancy Matters Director Paul Mould, followed by a session from Weatherbys Banking Group outlining its bespoke private-banking-style service model for the golf sector – highlighting new approaches to liquidity oversight, deposits and asset finance. Attendees will also benefit from a data-driven benchmarking presentation from ClubBenchmarking EMEA, targeting financial ratios, performance analysis and capital planning to support effective governance.

A key highlight of the day will be the Artificial Intelligence session, featuring Andy Doyle and Jamie Abbott, which will explore how emerging technologies are beginning to influence the way financial information is captured, analysed, and used within golf businesses. The session will consider how these developments may reshape established processes, enhance the quality and timeliness of insight, and support more informed financial decision-making.

The Conference, which costs £55pp for existing Accountancy Matters clients and £75 for everyone else, will conclude with a panel discussion between Simon Jones, Head of Business for Faldo Enterprises, Mike Harris, Founder of The Loop, and Ben Sharpe, Senior Vice President of Topgolf and Callaway EMEA. Hosted by Leighton Walker, the discussion will examine how golf can continue to grow in participation, commercial strength, and cultural relevance, while maintaining strong financial foundations. Each panellist will bring a distinct perspective on leadership, commercial strategy, and brand growth, offering attendees a well-rounded view of the wider business environment in which golf clubs operate.
