Italy joins the golf show rota

9.00am 9th October 2003 - Exhibitions & Conferences

Golf Italia, the new trade show that is to be held near Milan, has picked the mid October slot in 2004, positioning itself soon after Golf Europe and just before the golf trade shows in Denmark and Spain.
The organizers feel that the Italian market is now mature enough to host its own trade show and with nearly 300 golf courses and over 70,000 registered golfers they are probably right.
In terms of the number of its courses, Italy ranks only just outside Europe’s top six – England 1,896, Germany 633, Scotland 542, France 521, Sweden 449 and Ireland 493 (European Golf Association)
Golf Italia Expo will be held at Malpensafiere, which is 20 minutes from Milan, Varese and Como and close to Malpensa International Airport. It is within easy reach of many of Italy’s top golf facilities
