Headland Amenity’s return to Saltex was filled with awards – one given and one received.
At the IOG Dinner on the Wednesday evening Headland sponsored the ‘Cricket Grounds Team of the Year’ award. Andy Russell and his team were in attendance but it was for Sportsturf Manager Alex Hawkes to present the accolade to Andy MacKay of Sussex County Cricket Club and then the next morning the company’s exhibition stand was announced as ‘Best Stand’ in one of the award categories.
A pleased Andy Russell said: “Saltex turned out to be a great show for us, with many new potential customers from different areas of the industry coming to talk to us, and the award capped it all. Our agency, Pan Publicity, came up with the design and we’ve been very pleased with how it’s worked for us – I know they built 7 stands in all but that didn’t stop them pulling out all the stops to get us this award.”
