Learn and network with the large and small golf club owners and operators who are going through the same problems as you, including golf’s most influential individuals–GolfBIC 2013!
GolfBIC is the UK Golf Course Owners Association’s (UKGCOA) annual conference and is a joint venture with the Organisation of Golf & Range Operators (OGRO).
The conference is held at the Marriott Forest of Arden on the 11th& 12th of March 2013, chosen for its location, near the M6, and its amenities and facilities. The Marriott Forest of Arden is an outstanding 4 star hotel.
“We have changed the event substantially since last year,” says Colin Jenkins, chairman of OGRO, “and have condensed the exhibition into one day, with interesting seminars from a range of speakers, the all day exhibition, a long break for lunch and plenty of time for networking and catching up. At 5 pm we have a major panel discussion on the state of the industry, with leading speakers from the main organizations in golf. Pre-dinner drinks, kindly sponsored by Marriott Golf are at 7 pm, with our charity dinner in aid of the Golf Foundation capping the day.
Day two starts with The Annual General Meetings of both the UKGCOA and The Golf Consultants’ Association and is then devoted to a more in-depth study of certain subjects, with a number of specialist workshops running throughout the morning.
GolfBIC 2013 concludes after Gregg Patterson’s famed workshop on World Class Customer Care. Gregg (The Beach Club, Santa Monica) is well known for his knowledge and success in the club industry, particularly in the creation of loyalty and customer service. Attendance is solely justified by the opportunity to meet Gregg, a man who has successfully operated the Beach Club, in California, for 22 years.
Delegates are then free to enjoy the other facilities of the Forest of Arden including the two excellent golf courses, golf range, fitness centre or enjoy a leisurely lunch in one of the excellent restaurants.
GolfBIC is the most relevant, useful and enjoyable event for any golf owner or operator.
Colin Jenkins concluded: “The seminars and workshops for this year’s event are of the highest standard possible. If you operate a golf resort, golf course or driving range then there is specific content designed to help your further understanding of the business. We are delighted to be able to offer an array of world class experts, who have kindly agreed to give their time and energy to making GolfBIC an outstanding success. With a first class exhibition, charity dinner and unrivalled networking opportunities, GolfBIC 2013 is not to be missed.”
