For anyone seeking the latest in golf club technology, visiting Golf Live is a must and this year’s event is one not to be missed with TaylorMade becoming the latest big-name manufacturer to commit to the show.
TaylorMade’s new range of R11S drivers and RocketBallz fairway woods have taken the golfing world by storm in 2012, with the clubs endorsed on tour by the likes of Martin Kaymer, Dustin Johnson, Sergio Garcia, Justin Rose and Paula Creamer.
And visitors to Golf Live will be able to see for themselves what all the fuss is about after the company confirmed that it will be showcasing its full array of new clubs at the London Golf Club from May 18-20.
TaylorMade has taken golf club adjustability to a new level this year with the launch of its R11S driver – which features an updated, adjustable sole plate and the chance to alter the loft of the club – and the driver and RocketBallz fairway woods are already the number one products on the European Tour.
As well as having the chance to try out the manufacturer’s wide selection of woods and irons on Golf Live’s outdoor driving range, consumers will also have the opportunity to get custom-fitted thanks to its massive ten-metre TaylorMade truck that will be available to build clubs on-site throughout the show.
Nick Robbie, head of consumer marketing for TaylorMade, said: “Our new range of drivers and fairway woods has received a great reception from the golf industry and Golf Live is the ideal place for us to promote them to a wider golfer audience.
“Not only will golfers have the chance to experience what it’s like to play with our clubs but they can also get fitted on the spot, while their feedback will be invaluable to us in our continued commitment to developing new golf club technology.”
TaylorMade is the latest leading golf brand to commit to Golf Live with Callaway, Wilson, Cleveland, Mizuno, Yonex and Cobra already having confirmed their presence on the show’s 30-bay outdoor driving range.
In addition, the likes of Titleist, PUMA, Srixon, Golfbreaks.com, Celtic Manor Resort, Oakley, Trendy Golf, Druh Belts, Marriott Hotels, St Andrews Golf and, Turnberry Resort will also be among the impressive cast of exhibitors.
Golf Live has a reputation for attracting some of the biggest names in golf and European Tour legend Colin Montgomerie and South African superstar Gary Player have already signed up to take part this year.
Event ambassador Montgomerie and nine-time Major champion Player will headline a strong line up of players from both the men’s and ladies’Tours.
Visitors will be able to watch, listen to and ask questions of the star-studded cast during the three-day show, with other top professionals set to be announced to appear alongside them in the run-up to May.
