Even though only two months have passed since the GOLF EUROPE 2012 closed its gates, the planning for the next edition has already started. The positive balance of the year 2012 emphasizes its important role as a platform of the European golf industry in a central location: visitors from 37 countries of the world attended the GOLF EUROPE 2012, nearly 40% of the trade visitors came from abroad.
The exhibitors also appreciate the important role of the GOLF EUROPE for the industry: “Personally, I believe that Europe needs a trade fair like this one”, says Richard Payne, Sports Account Manager at Sports Marketing Surveys Inc. and Josef Kerschbaumer, Managing Director at KOMPERDELL, puts it in a nutshell: “It is important to have GOLF EUROPE as a platform. We were able to present ourselves very well here and made good contacts, quantitatively as well as qualitatively. The quality is even better than before. The visitors took their time in a positive atmosphere. The PRODUCT AWARD also helps us sell our products better.”
Christian Piott, managing director of SNAG Golf praised the internationality of the fair. “For us, the fair was successful, not least because of its internationality.”
Next year the organisers would like to build on the success of the Teaching & Coaching Programme and the activity spaces and continue extending the fair as a platform for the European golf industry together with the exhibitors and partners, the PGA of Germany, the PGAs of Europe and the Golf Management Association Germany.
“Use the possibilities in our 21,000m2 exhibition space in order to present yourselves exclusively to an international clientele, to exchange views and ideas with your colleagues from the golf industry, to establish new contacts and to transact your business,” said a spokesman. “During the fair there will also be another presentation of the PRODUCT AWARD and a special attraction.”
