The Golf Course Association Europe (GCAE) has announced the dates for its 2023 European Golf Business Conference, which is taking place in Portugal.

The annual gathering of golf course owners, operators and industry professionals will take place from February 14-16 at the Palacio Hotel in Cascais, near Lisbon. 

Among the list of speakers already lined up for the three-day conference are Jay Karen, CEO of the National Golf Course Owners Association in America, and Phil Anderton, chief development officer of the R&A, who is presenting details of its new campaign using social media influencers to grow the game. A full list of speakers will be released at a later date. 

The conference will also focus on the role that new technology is impacting the way golf courses can be managed and maintained.
