In a joint announcement The World Scientific Congress of Golf Trust and the University of St Andrews have announced that the Fourth Congress will be held at St Andrews from 23rd to 26th July 2002.
The principal objectives of the Congress are to facilitate scientific and technical exchanges related to golf research between countries, institutes and individuals and to develop international; co-operation and understanding between golf researchers and those involved in professional practice.
“As the Trust continues its work into the third millennium,” says Dr Eric Thain, director of WSCGT, “there are many new and exciting challenges for golf research, taking into account the sport’s growing influence.”
