Fifth Conference for OGRO

9.45am 19th March 2007 - Exhibitions & Conferences

The Organisation of Golf Range Owners was founded in 2002 to enhance communication within the golf range industry and deliver added value to members through partnerships developed with major suppliers of goods and services. This month sees the organisation host its 5th annual Range Conference and Exhibition at the Ramada Jarvis Maidstone on 29th March.

Following last year’s record attendance this year’s Conference and Exhibition promises to be another exceptional gathering of the leading figures in the golf range industry.

Rohan Barnett of OGRO opens the morning session, which commences at 9.30 am, and will be followed by Tony Roestenburg – Food and Drink; Neil Johnson – Range Lighting; Ray Smith – New Smoking Legislation; and Colin Jenkins – Range News Roundup. The Honorary President of OGRO, John Jacobs OBE, will conclude the morning’s proceedings.

After the buffet lunch break – extended so that delegates can spend time visiting the exhibits of more than twenty leading golf range industry suppliers – John Stirling, a former captain of the PGA and PGA Professional of the Year 1998, will set the tone for the afternoon which will focus on teaching. Further teaching styles and options will be presented with contributions from Roger Mace – Teach to Sell; Rob Spurrier – Orbis Coaching; Neil Burke – Horne Park; Dave Gosling – YMG; and Colin Jenkins – Learn to Play in May

The Conference will conclude with a panel session of questions and answers. For more information about OGRO and to register to attend the Conference visit www.ogro.org
