12.20am 8th September 2005 - Exhibitions & Conferences

The 2005 PGA Fall Expo, 28-29 September at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, continues to experience an increase in pre-registration numbers, 25% over 2004, due in part to top golf buyers planning to attend the industry’s annual Fall marketplace. Additionally, several allied golf organizations are utilizing the PGA Fall Expo for seminars, conferences and networking events.
“The PGA Fall Expo’s blend of leading golf manufacturers, interactive product testing, education seminars and networking functions is drawing influential PGA Professionals and top retailers who meaningfully impact the business of our exhibitors and the business of the game,” said PGA Golf Exhibitions vice president and show manager Ed Several. “Additionally, the participation of allied golf associations benefits nearly every attending professional and contributes to the overall success of the Show.”
A number of top golf retailers plan to join influential PGA professionals from throughout the United States at the PGA Fall Expo including companies such as Carl’s Golfland, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Edwin Watts Golf, Pro Golf Discount, Troon Golf, In Celebration of Golf, Golfsmith, Golf USA and International Golf.
Additionally, many of golf’s allied organizations are hosting professional development programs, business meetings and networking events in Las Vegas, in conjunction with the 2005 PGA Fall Expo. The PGA of America, organizing partner for the PGA Fall Expo, is staging comprehensive member education programs, player development seminars and industry access to the PGA Employment Centre at the Show. Additionally, The PGA is providing PGA professionals with the latest employment and member services within the comprehensive PGA Member Business Centre.
The International Network of Golf is staging its fourth ING Fall Media Forum, 25-27 September in conjunction with the PGA Fall Expo. The annual conference offers workshops, golf outings and networking opportunities among golf media, manufacturers and business leaders.

Scheduled during a prime business cycle for thousands of influential PGA Professionals, golf retailers, manufacturers and industry leaders, the 2005 PGA Fall Expo will feature equipment, apparel, accessories and services of some 300 golf-related exhibitors within approximately 50,000 net square feet of exhibit space in the Las Vegas Convention Centre.
